To Whom It May Concern:
On June 11, 2009, we will be
hosting our 19th Annual Golf Tournament. This is our major fundraiser of the year for
our area children and youth programs. With
the money raised we support 5 American Legion Baseball teams and send 2 young
men to Austin for a week at Boy’s State.
We also award 5 scholarships a year to the top male and female
graduating at 5 of the local schools.
Also helped sponsor the American Legion State Baseball Tournament. Last year we provided Christmas dinner and
gifts to over 40 military families in need.
We would very much appreciate
any donation you could give, merchandise, cash or volunteering your time. We will be having a silent and a live auction
immediately after the tournament and will publicize your donation. The
American Legion is a 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations are
tax deductible.
